Work we cover

  • greenhouse work: planting, tending, harvesting;

  • sorting, packing and processing farm produce.

Simplified procedure for seasonal workers

Seasonal farm work does not require a work residence permit in advance:

  • the employer files a sworn declaration with IGM within 5 working days of the start of work;
  • work may last up to 9 months in any 12-month period;
  • fixed-term contract, pay at least the national minimum wage.
